The only way I tend to get things done in life or meet goals is to create check lists for myself. Even if I don't go back to them or scratch things off, It helps me set my priorities and give me a visual of how much actually needs to be done. Originally, It was a 25 before 25. Then I realized how old I was, vs the things on my list. I don't think shoving everything into a year would have been financially wise. Sooo, I extend it. Things added to the list are out of my norm, and thing I'd like to push myself to do. Not necessarily 30 things I want to do, but 30 things I should do at some point or another. Some of them are fears I'd like to face, others personal challenges. A good amount just for the experience. Thus, I present...
30 Before 30
- Live together in our first place.
- Slow dance for the first time with Ceje. (We never danced at our wedding or prior.)
- Cook a "Family Dinner" that includes more than 4 people.
- Make a pie 100% from scratch.
- Plant a food item that can be harvested.
- Road Trip longer than 12 hours.
- Go to Disney World.
- Eat Fugu.
- Become a Certified Open Water Scuba Diver.
- Go on a Cruise
- Visit a Beach Cave. Maybe stay a bit.
- Spend the night in a Tree House (WA or AK Preferably)
- Stay a night or two in an Ice Castle.
- Volunteer more than 20 hours for something good.
- Watch all of Law & Order: SVU
- Obtain Private Pilot License.
- View/Participate in Sky Lantern Festival.
- Bake a loaf of bread.
- Visit the Temples of Mexico
- Horseback Ridding.
- Obtain a "Healthy" weight.
- Complete a 5k
- Fine tune my Spanglish into Spanish.
- Ride in a Hot Air Balloon
- Skydiving
- Take a "Race Car" driving class and speed around the track.
- Zipline over something awesome.
- Take a pottery class.
- Relax in Flotation Tank.
- Swim in the Ocean (I've developed a fear of it)
